Halo for iPhone + Apple Watch
Privacy policy
Effective November 2, 2026
The short version
Halo does not collect, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We (Perfectional Media Group, LLC) never see your data at all.
What Halo stores, and where
Your meditation sessions (date, duration, and breathing pattern) are stored on your device and synced through iCloud using CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. That data is tied to your Apple Account, protected by Apple, and inaccessible to us.
Your settings — breathing pattern, timer length, and reminder preferences — are stored locally on your device.
Apple Health
If you grant permission, Halo writes your completed sessions to Apple Health as mindful minutes. Halo never reads any data from Apple Health. You can revoke this permission at any time in the Health app under Sharing → Apps.
Notifications
The session-complete alert and optional daily reminder are local notifications, scheduled entirely on your device. Halo uses no push notification servers.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device. To remove synced session history from iCloud, go to Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage and delete Halo's data.
Changes to this policy
If Halo's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date below revised. Since the app is built to work without collecting anything, don't expect much movement here.
